Peter Iredale Shipwreck Cyanotype
Inspired by a true story, The Peter Iredale Shipwreck draws loads of visitors out to the Oregon coast, our artist here included. The deep indigo blue, a classic signature of the cyanotype printmaking process, serves our story perfectly.
The artist layers their own photographs, along with type and other collage elements to create pieces that blend the fairytale feeling of a storybook and nostalgic film photography. Each of the series was individually printed by hand and by the sun, no two are exactly alike so you will have a truly one of a kind piece of art.
This is a limited series of 7 original prints.

A note about misprints: I only sell a piece as a "misprint" when I believe it is still of displayable quality. These are misprints due to minor imperfections like an unintended smudge, or a corner has a slight kink, for example. I like to offer them at discounted rates so that more folks can enjoy my work.
