Beginning with the handmade, recycled paper the artwork is printed on, the artist re-uses high quality leftovers from zine and print trimmings. The result leaves the surface of the paper full of character, you'll see and can feel the fibers (with clean hands!) are soft to the touch. A great sustainable way to reduce waste in the art making process, the artist takes joy in paper craft.
This paper is made in small batches, this is why the prints are quite limited. Each piece is signed with the year it was printed. Hello Magnolia is run by one, independent artist living and working in Portland, Oregon.
Prints are individually pressed by hand using archival printmaking inks that are sure to stand the tests of time.
